ProPeat Spreader Settings: Greens Grade vs. Fairway Grade

On managed turf, an accurate spreader setting is the difference between even, expected results and streaky over- or under-application. Published settings give you a reliable starting point for each machine and rate.

Greens-grade settings are provided for precise application on closely mown turf at common rates (for example, 100 to 250 lbs per acre, or roughly 2.3 to 5.7 lbs per 1,000 sq ft), across a wide range of spreaders.

Fairway-grade settings cover broader applications efficiently while maintaining even distribution across larger areas. Select the chart that matches your product grade.

Settings are recommendations only. Your application will vary with ground speed and equipment wear, and bulk density, particle size, or a change in fertilizer analysis will affect the setting. Calibrate your own equipment before a full application.
